Burial Beer announced an exciting new expansion that will include a wine bar, rooftop bar, and new retail shop in the South Slope.

The brewery won’t be moving very far. They purchased the building adjacent to their current taproom which was formerly known as Asheville Hardware.

Doug Reiser, Co-Founder, and COO of Burial says, “In addition to expanding our barrel-aging program, this new property will provide us with an opportunity to showcase our VISUALS wines, ciders, and vermouths and build upon our commitment to our community by providing space to work with some Asheville makers who deserve an opportunity to let their visions fly.”

To meet the growing demands of their nationwide shipping program, the new building will also house Burial’s packaging facility. Tim Gormley, Co-Founder, and Director of Development says “We started our shipping program at the beginning of the pandemic and it has allowed our customers across the country to bring the Burial experience into their own home.”

Jess Reiser, Co-Founder, and CEO of Burial Beer Co. says, “South Slope is where it all started. This community has supported us from the beginning. We look forward to digging in and continuing to grow in the neighborhood that drew us here. We can’t wait to see what further creativity will come with more opportunities to expand our offerings.”
