A taste of the River Arts District will soon be available on some more river banks around the mountains.
The Grey Eagle Music Hall and Taqueria is expanding by offering menus at three new locations, including the original BearWaters Brewing on the banks of the Pigeon River in Canton, and BearWaters second location in Maggie Valley, which opened last month. Goodness from The Grey Eagle Taqueria will also be available at Big Pillow Brewing in Hot Springs.
Co-owner of The Grey Eagle Taqueria, Sarah Keith and her crew have been hard at work refining new dishes so that every Taqueria location has something distinct to offer.
“We are excited about introducing The Grey Eagle Taqueria’s Latin-inspired cuisine to the Canton, Maggie Valley, and Madison County communities,” says Taqueria co-owner Sarah Keith. “Our head chefs, Janelle Koelling and Maxwell Baker have thoughtfully created individual menus to offer a unique experience to each location.”
Sarah and her full culinary crew have been crafting new dishes, so that each location can offer something unique.
“We couldn’t be more excited about extending our collaboration with The Grey Eagle Taqueria to the kitchen in our main brewery in Canton,” says BearWaters Operations Director Mark Cervero. “Their tacos and entrees are the perfect fusion of traditional authentic Mexican fare coupled with a beautifully health-conscious contemporary spin. We can’t wait to introduce the culinary delight that is The Grey Eagle Taqueria to our family in Canton.”
BearWaters is celebrating its Canton reopening Tuesday, June 23 from 11:30am – 9pm, featuring an all-day party and crawfish boil. In addition to the brewery’s newly added kitchen and counter service, which will begin regular operation that day, the Grey Eagle Taqueria will also be offering a crawfish plate special for $8 per pound starting at 4pm.
Both BearWaters locations are operating Tuesdays through Sundays. Big Pillow Brewing is set to open later this summer.
