Support Science Museum at Smoky Park Supper Club

Eamos2at, drink, shop, and dance – all in the name of science. The Asheville Museum of Science presents its fourth annual Under the Stars fundraiser, from 6 to 9 pm Thursday June 1.

The special night takes place at The Boathouse, Smoky Park Supper Club’s event space on the French Broad River in West Asheville.

Tickets are $35, with a $5 discount for museum members. Your Under the Stars admission includes local drinks, great food, an AMOS goody bag, and access to premier silent auction items, including tickets to see astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson at the US Cellular Center June 13. You can also bid on local art, jewelry, overnight stays in local and regional hotels, jewelry, spa treatments, and staycations.

stars4Gather around the cozy fire pit with your friends, meet some new folks, and enjoy a performance from the Blushin’ Roulettes, featuring old time tunes with a modern twist.

In addition to a fun night at a Uniquely Asheville event, you’ll help support the Asheville Museum of Science, which is completing four brand new exhibits ahead of its Grand Opening Celebration later this summer. It will provide visitors of all ages hands-on opportunities to explore the science of Western North Carolina and beyond. AMOS has taught nearly 5,000 school children and welcomed almost 20,000 visitors since its soft opening in November 2016.

Get your tickets here, and help AMOS usher in a new era of interactive science exploration in downtown Asheville.
