Bold Rock Hosts Dream Machine Finale June 3

If the tricked out Jeep Wrangler that’s been making its way around the mountains is the apple of your eye, come to Bold Rock Hard Cider’s Mills River Cidery Saturday June 3.

From 2 to 3 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to be a last chance finalist to win the Mountain Dream Machine from 105.9 the Mountain and Mountain Dew, with special thanks to General Equipment Rental and Husqvarna. The 2011 Wrangler 4×4 has been customized by the top automotive experts in Western North Carolina, and is valued at nearly $22,000.

At 3 pm, all of the finalists will take part in a reverse raffle, hoping to be the last person in the contest to earn the keys to the vehicle.

“Our partners are Wheel City Motors have created a coveted vehicle here,” says Nikki Mitchell, the marketing director for 105.9 the Mountain. “They are truck guys – and love to build custom 4x4s just like our Dream Machine.”

IMG_8397The crew at Bold Rock knows a thing or two about trucks, too. Big ones, filled will local apples, used to make its craft cider creations.

“We’ll have our nine different award-winning cider styles for people to try, and great BBQ and burgers from our food trailer,” says Bold Rock’s Lindsay Dorrier. “For anyone who hasn’t been to Bold Rock in Mills River, this time to get over to 72 School House Road and see what the fuss is about is now.”

Once the Dream Machine giveaway ends, Lindsey invites everyone to stick around for music from Breakout starting at 7 pm.

“It’s fitting that our Dream Machine giveaway is happening at Bold Rock, at the gateway to the Pisgah National Forest,” Nikki adds. “The entire Jeep is coated in LineX, and Diamond Brand Outdoors has outfitted it with a Thule roof rack system, Liquidlogic Kayak, a tent, sleeping bag, and backpack. This is a vehicle that’s meant for adventure in Western North Carolina.”

The Mountain Dream Machine also includes special wheels and tires from Wheel City Tire and Alignment, and a hood wrap from F&I Detailing.
