Downtown After 5 Is Back

2017 DTA5 Season Continues June 16

The big stage is going up on North Lexington Avenue again, as the Asheville Downtown Association and Prestige Subaru continue the 2017 Downtown After 5 series.

Greyhounds will headline, a duo blending an old school SoCal feel with East Texas “slap-a-jank” guitar. Local funk/soul group The Northside Gentleman will kick off the evening with soul classics and instrumental New Orleans funk.

The street will be blocked to traffic from the 240 overpass south to Hiawassee Street, so you can mingle with your friends, meet some new ones, enjoy great local eats and watch the kids enjoying special activities just for them. Get a wristband to support this month’s nonprofit partner, The Hope Chest, which supports women with breast and gynecological cancers. Sip on your favorite local, regional, or national brew, or enjoy some wine.
