Beer, Chocolate & Cheese: Beer Week Event at Catawba

Special Event May 31 on the South Slope

Catawba Brewing has a sweet way to partake in Asheville Beer Week – the Beer, Chocolate and Cheese Pairing.

The event happens at 7 pm Wednesday, May 31, at Catawba Brewing at 32 Banks Avenue in downtown Asheville. During the evening, you’ll get a chance to pair four specialty Catawba beers with cheese and chocolate in Catawba’s South Slope Rickhouse bar under the crystal chandeliers. Guests will smell, sniff, chew-melt, and sip in an interactive exploration with their tablemates under the expert tutoring of Crawford Rizor, Head Chocolate Producer of the South Slope’s neighborhood chocolate factory, French Broad Chocolates. Also, learn how cheese is made with some of the finest cheese makers from the Western North Carolina Cheese Trail. Catawba’s Certified Cicerones will collaborate with these experts of edible art to select beers that elevate the pairings beyond the sum of their parts.

Tickets are $29 and are available here.
